Sigurd, Utah - Que DeVon Brown, age 76, of Sigurd, died Friday, December 12, 2003 in Glenwood, Utah.

He was born December 8, 1927 in Richfield, Utah, a son of Alma Grant and Ruth Torgersen Brown. He married Mildred Peterson, December 18, 1954 in Circleville, Utah. They were later divorced.

Que graduated from South Sevier High School, Class of 1945. He served in the United States Army during the Korean Conflict. Que worked for US Gypsum in Sigurd for over 32 years, retiring as a Foreman. He enjoyed hunting, fishing and gardening. He was a member of the LDS Church.

Que is survived by his daughter, Elaine and her husband, James Wolfe of Aurora, Missouri; 2 granddaugthers: Alisha Harward of Cedar City and Ashley Harward of Aurora, MO; a sister: Darlene and her husband, Chad Snedeger of Sigurd.

He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Keith and his wife, Beverly Brown.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, December 17, 2003 at 12 Noon in the Sigurd LDS Ward Chapel. Friends may call for viewing at the Springer Turner Funeral Home in Richfield, Tuesday evening from 6 to 8 P.M. and at the ward chapel in Sigurd Wednesday morning from 10:30 to 11:30 prior to the services.

Burial with military honors accorded by the Harold Brown American Legion Post #92 will be Wednesday afternoon at 3:00 P.M. in the Koosharem Cemetery, under the direction of the Springer Turner Funeral Home of Richfield, Salina and Gunnison, Utah.
