He married Donna Osgood on Aug. 31, 1963, in United Presbyterian Church, Lisbon, with the Rev. Robert Simonds officiating.
Mr. Dominie enjoyed woodworking and gardening.
Mr. Dominie worked at St. Joe's Mineral Corp., Edwards, and was later a cook at The Lodge, Morristown. He and his wife then owned and operated Dom's Bar, New York Avenue, for more than 10 years, selling the business in 1995.
