Placido Quintana, Jr., age 77, a lifelong resident and rancher from Dahlia, NM passed away October 29, 2008 peacefully surrounded by his loving family.
Mr. Quintana was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Anton Chico. His is preceded in death by his father
Placido QuintanaAlso preceded in death by two sons; Magdaleno Quintana and David Quintana. He is survived by his wife of 55 years Helen Bachicha Quintana of the family home in Dahlia, his children; Orlando Quintana of Albuquerque, Dan Quintana of Dahlia, Leroy Quintana of Santa Rosa, Virginia Quintana of Las Vegas, NM, Lisa Lucero of Tecolotito, Cecilia Quintana of Santa Rosa, and Mary Helen Chavez of Albuquerque. Also surviving are his brother Luis Quintana of Amhurst, TX, his sisters; Petra Chavez of Edgewood, Isabelle Montoya of Denver, CO and Maria Gosset and son in law Kenneth Gossett and niece Elizabeth Gossett of Anton, Texas as well as 12 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, relatives and friends.
