Died in Kansas.
Mrs. William Davidson. daughter of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Wilkin, (Note: should be T. A. Wilkin, J. W. was her brother) of this city, died Wednesday at the home of her brother, Ira, Stockton, Kas. of lung trouble. Funeral services will be held today at the Methodist Church by the Rev. Swofford. She is survived by her parents, three brothers, husband and one child.
Mrs. Davidson's maiden name was Elsie Pearl Wilkin. She was born in Barton County, Mo., Christmas Day 1888, and came to this vicinity when 14 years old. In 1908 she graduated from Pleasant Hill High School and was married to William Davidson the same year.
After a stay of several years in Washington, D. C., where Mrs. Davidson was employed in one of the government offices, while Mr. Davidson did other work. The Davidsons returned to Pleasant Hill by motor, arriving here on the date of the presidential election last November. Since that time her decline has been steady. Some weeks ago she went to Kansas in hope of relief in the higher country of the western part of that state, but the hope was a vain one. Mrs. Davidson's mother was with her at the end.
