Mrs. Brice Bainum
ARLINGTON - Betty Ann Bainum, 63, died July 20, 1984, at Wesley Medical Center, Wichita, after a short illness. Born Betty Burgess Aug. 15, 1920, at Nickerson, she married Brice Bainum Aug. 25, 1941, in Reno County. She was a retired employee of the Kansas State Grain Inspection Department, Hutchinson, and had been a long-time Arlington resident.
She was a member of Arlington United Methodist church.
Survivors: husband, of the home; sons, Jerry, 2451 East 43rd; Dale, Dallas; daughters, Janet Southards, Valley Center; Retha Pearce, Burrton; mother, Letha Burgess, 600 West Blanchard, South Hutchinson; Brother, Willard Burgess, Sterling; 13 grandchildren.
Funeral will be at 2 p.m. Monday at the church, the Rev Dennis Wallace. Burial at Arlington cemetery. Friends may call from 9 a.m. until 9.p.m. Sunday at Elliott Chapel, Hutchinson. Memorials to the church.

Preceding her in death was her father, Arthur William Burgess and a brother, Hubert Ernest Burgess.
