Leona "Muff" Alcantar, 71, died Wednesday at her daughter's home. Born in Allen County, she was a homemaker. Surviving are two daughters, Judy Doctor of rural Monroeville and Nancy Chacon of Fort Wayne; two brothers, Paul Adams and Bud Adams, both of Columbia City; two sisters, Juanita Cress of rural Decatur and Virginia Longwell of Van Wert, Ohio; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Services at 11:30 a.m. Saturday at Zwick & Jahn Funeral Home, Jacobs Chapel, Monroeville, with calling from 2 to 5 and 7 to 9 p.m. today and an hour before services Saturday. Burial in Monroeville Memorial Cemetery. Memorials to Hessen Cassell Parish Restoration Fund.
