Preceded in death by parents, John and Mary Nelson, survivors include, sons, Darwin (George) Nelson, Derby and Brent Nelson, Independence; daughters, Marilyn (Greg) Owings, Oxford, Kathryn (Stanley) Williams, Cambridge, LaVon Harrison, Overland Park, Twyla (Terry) Herrick, Derby, and Mary (Daren) Bannon, Douglass; brother, Robert Nelson, Haysville; sisters, Donna (Delmar) Goff, Haysville and Frances (Millard) Bergen, El Dorado; 17 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Memorials to Victory in the Valley. Services by Broadway Mortuary.
