Curtis Dingman, 77, of Fort Plain, died at the Amsterdam City Hospital on Friday afternoon following an operation, which necessitated the amputaion of a leg. The other leg had been previously largely removed in an operation.
He is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Leon Ballard, Mrs. Esther Latrelle, Miss Elizabeth Dingman, all of Syracuse; one son, Earl Dingman, Fort Plain, two brothers, Silas Dingman and Harvey Dingman, of St. Johnsville, and eleven grandchildren.
The funeral was held at the Gray Funeral Home, Willett street, Sunday at 2:30 p.m. with Rev. C.R. Hamilton, pastor of the First Baptist Church of Fort Plain, officiating. Burial was made in the Canajoharie Falls Cemetery, Canajoharie.
