JOHN H. VOSBURGH.
John H. Vosburgh, a native of the town of Canajoharie, and for many years a respected resident, died at the Montgomery County Home on Tuesday, March 24, at the advanced age of 78 years. He was born in Canajoharie on August 28, 1857, the son of Peter J. and Katherine Van Alstine Vosburgh.
Surviving are his widow at Utica; two sons, Henry S. and George Vosburgh, and daughters, the Misses Lillian and Minnie Vosburgh, Canajoharie; one brother, Peter J. Vosburgh of the town of Canajoharie and one sister, Mrs. Charles Tute, also of Canajoharie township. There is also one granddaughter, Clara Vosburgh and nieces and nephews.
The funeral service will be held at the Houghtaling Funeral Parlors on Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock with Rev. Samuel W. Spear, pastor of the Methodist Episcopal church, officiating.
