NORTH JUDSON -- Delta A. Hickman, 83, of Division Street, died at 11:35 a.m. Wednesday in Starke Memorial Hospital, Knox. Mr. Hickman was retired from Erie Railroad. He was born March 30, 1908, in Winamac and was a lifelong resident of North Judson. On July 6, 1929, in La Porte, he married Agnes Trinosky. She survives with three daughters, Kathryn Marie Bau, Joyce Avalon Chesak and Sheryl Roller, all of North Judson; two sons, Emery of Sedona, Ariz., and Dale of Burbank, Ill; 19 grandchildren; 18 great-grandchildren; five sisters, Winnie Clark of Fowler, Ind., Matilda Earhart of Royal Center, Ind., Mae Abbott of Francesville, Betty Feightner of Kokomo, Ind., and Beatrice Abbott of Elwood, Ind.; and a brother, James of Chester, Okla. A son, Melvin Dwight, died in 1941. He was a member of Winamac Church of the Nazarene.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday in the church. Burial will be in San Pierre Cemetery. Friends may call after 3 p.m. Friday at O'Donnell Funeral Home. Memorial contributions may be made to the church.
