Mary Kay Snapp 1940 ~ 2006 Oakley- Our dear mother, sister and friend, Mary Kay Snapp left this world on September 30, 2006 with her loving husband Oral Snapp. Kay was born in Blanding, Utah on December 11, 1940 to Wanda & Wilbur Laws. She grew up in a home of love and laughter as one of ten children. She married Jack Noel Smith, and they had four children. They later divorced. Kay met and married Arlo D. Fawson. Their fairy tale marriage was sealed for time and all eternity in the Salt Lake Temple. Arlo passed away in 1998. Oral and Kay met and courted in the Salt Lake Temple. Together they traveled the world, and had just returned from a tour of Austria and Switzerland. Their grandchildren were their greatest joy. She was a member of the Daughters of Utah Pioneers, Fort Sage Bottom Chapter. Kay enjoyed family history, and had just completed tracing all four of her grandparents' lines back into the 1500s. She also enjoyed quilting, sewing and traveling. She is survived by a son, Wayne (Nicky) Smith, Spanish Fork, Utah; daughters: Wanda (Ron) Skinner, Belgrade, Montana and Robin (Val) McDaniel, Blanding, Utah.
