Entered into eternal rest on the morning of November 12, 2004, Annie Bradley Babb, widow of Robert Edgar Babb, Jr. Residence, Charleston, SC. The relatives and friends are invited to attend her funeral services Sunday, November 14, 2004 at two oʼclock in J. HENRY STUHR, INC., DOWNTOWN CHAPEL.
Interment, Live Oak Memorial Gardens. Friends may call at Stuhrʼs Downtown Chapel Sunday one hour prior to the service. Mrs. Babb was born May 24, 1906 in Mayesville, SC, the daughter of Dr. William Bradley and Lilly Freeland Bradley. She received her nursing degree from the Baptist Hospital in Columbia, SC. She was a former Public Health nurse in McCormick, SC prior to her marriage. She is survived by one son: Dr. Robert E. Babb, III and his wife Patricia Gramling-Babb of Charleston, SC; one daughter: Janice B. Dowtin of Charleston, SC; two grandchildren: Christopher R. Babb of Chicago, IL and Robin V. Steinberger of Charleston, SC; one great grandchild: Thomas E. Voyles of France. She is preceded in death by a grandson, Bradley Voyles. Memorials may be made to John Wesley United Methodist Church, 626 Savannah Hwy. Charleston, SC 29407.
