Miriam Wilson Bennett, 84, of Alpine died Sunday. She was born in St. Louis, Mo. Mrs. Bennett was retired after working as chief postal clerk for the Alpine post office. She was a member of Alpine Community Church and the Alpine Women's Club.
Survivors include her husband, William T. Bennett; daughter, Miriam W. Bates of San Diego; two grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.
Services: 2 p.m. today, El Cajon Mortuary, 684 S. Mollison Ave., El Cajon.
