Cecelia R. "Sis" Clark

Cecelia R. Sis (Sheehan) Clark , of South Easton, formerly of Brockton, passed away on Friday April 21, 2006 after a period of failing health in Brockton Hospital. She was 86 years old. She was the beloved wife of the late Francis J. Clark.

Mrs. Clark was born February 29, 1920 in Brockton, Massachusetts. She was a daughter of the late Edward and Celia (Cruise) Sheehan. She attended Brockton Public Schools and was a graduate of Brockton High School.

Prior to starting a very dedicated career with the City of Brockton, Mrs. Clark was employed for a brief period of time as an office manager with the former Regal Shoe Company of Whitman .

Mrs. Clark was employed by the City of Brockton in various departments. She was an Administrative Assistant to the late Mayor Joseph Downey, and was also an Administrative Assistant for the City of Brockton Highway Department, City of Brockton Fire Department and most recently prior to her retirement, The City of Brockton DPW.

She was a communicant of The Holy Cross Church in South Easton, MA. She was also a former member of the 20th Century Club at Our Lady Of Lourdes Church in Brockton. She was a former member of the Parents Club at Cardinal Spellman High School and was a dedicated member of their Scholarship Committee. She was also a member of The Red Hat Society of the Brockton area. Mrs. Clark was very active with various political organizations in Brockton.

Her hobbies included: knitting, reading, socializing, trips to Cape Cod, traveling and dining out. She was very proud of her Irish heritage and loved having the opportunity to visit Ireland.

She is survived by ...........................

Her funeral will be held on Monday April 24, 2006 at 9:30 A.M. from the Sheehan Funeral Home, 115 Monk Street,( Off Rt. 138 at the Webster Bank), Stoughton, followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 10:30 A.M. in the Holy Cross Church,( Off Purchase Street), South Easton. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Brockton.
