Evelyn G. Troxell, 92, of Blandburg, died Sunday Aug. 3, 2003, at Altoona Hospital. Born Aug. 15, 1919, in Blandburg, she was a daughter of Howard W. and Nora A. (Williams) Miller. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, Blandburg. She is survived by four grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and two sisters, Lorraine Rutter of Bellwood and Phyllis Carter of Altoona. In January 1930, she wed Luther E. Troxell, who died April 23, 1966. She was also preceded in death by her parents, a son, Donald; four brothers, Guy, Darrell, Elwood and Clifford and two sisters, Vesta Duff and Dorothy Matthews. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at McQuown Funeral Home, Glasgow, with the Rev. David Heckman officiating. Interment will be Pleasant Hill Cemetery, Glasgow. Friends will be received from 7-9 p.m. today at the funeral home.
