Martha Frances Conaway was born Aug. 3, 1917. She was the fourth daughter born to E. Ray and Flossie P. (Woodward) Conaway.

She married Robert Donald Lewis and they resided in Zanesville, OH for many years where Bob worked his way up to Foreman/Manager at Armco Steel prior to his retirement.
She worked for a while in retail sales in Zanesville before her retirement.
She and Bob moved to Cleveland to be near their son, Gary, after their retirements.
She and Bob had two sons: Donald Ray Lewis (who died as a baby) and Gary D. Lewis.
Martha died Jan. 21, 2006 in Cleveland and is buried next to her husband, Bob, in Iliff Cemetery near Crooksville, OH.
