Andrew L. Braun, 88, died Sunday night, July 15, at St. Anthony Hospital in Hays.
He was born June 10, 1891, in Victoria. He married Catherine Dreiling, who died in 1945. He farmed south of Victoria near Vincent, retired and moved to Victoria in 1951.
Surviving: three sons, Wendelin, Victoria, Alfons and Albert, both of Walker; three daughters. Mrs. Fred (Anna) Rohr, Victoria, Mary, of the home, and Mrs. Orville (Theckla) Clark, Palco; two brothers, Lawrence and Vince, both of Hays; one sister, Mrs. William (Amelia) Denning, Hays; 19 grandchildren and 39 great-grandchildren.
Funeral: 10 a.m. Wednesday, St. Fidelis Catholic Church, Victoria; St. Boniface Cemetery, Vincent. Parish wake service at Cline's Mortuary, 8 p.m. Tuesday. Friends may call after 7:30 p.m. Monday until the hour of the service.
