They were blessed with about twelve children; Hulda (born 1779), Lucinda (born 1781), John (born 1782), Abraham (born 1784), Pamelia (born 1786), Sorisa (born 1788), Ruth (born 1789), Thomas (born 1791), Silas (born 1793), Seth ( born 1795), and two more but some did not live to adulthood. Thomas the father, later settled in Illinois to be with his son Thomas Jr. and his family and that is where he is buried.
