"Mrs. Rose M. Coon --- GLENNS FERRY --- Services for Mrs. Rose M. Coon, 80, Glenns Ferry, who died Saturday in a Mountain Home hospital, will be conducted at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday at the United Methodist Church, Glenns Ferry, by Pastor Edward Badden. Interment will be at Glenn rest.


"She was born Feb. 3, 1892, at Park City, Utah. She married M. H. (Dick) Coon on June 22, 1910, at Gooding. They came to Glenns Ferry in 1922 from Bliss where Mr. Coon was employed by the Union Pacific Railroad as station agent until his retirement in 1962. He preceded her in death in May of 1971. She was a member of the United Methodist Church, the Woman's Society for Christian Service, the Rebekah Lodge, the JOC Club and the Union Pacific Old Timers.


"Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Jerrie Sellman of Glenns Ferry; two sons, Everett H. Coon of Boise and Clifton J. Coon of Glenns Ferry; a brother, Elmer Carpenter of LaGrande, Ore.; a sister, Effie King of LaGrande, six grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren."
