The extant fragment reads in 2008: "In memory of [Gertrude], consort of [Frede]rick Frelinghuysen, daughter of [Henry and] Magdalen Schenck, [departed this] life, March 11, 1794, [aged 41 yrs., 3 mos., 9 dys.]" In the 1912 survey by E. Gertrude Nevius of [[East Millstone, New Jersey]] wrote in her notes that grave was for: "Gertrude Frelinghuysen, consort of Frederick, daughter of Henry and Magdalen Schenck, d. March 11, 1794, aged 41 yrs., 3 mos., 9 dys."
