Brother Hart was an active member of the Spokane Southside Priesthood as long as his physical condition permitted him, taking active part with his church-work throughout the Spokane District. Bert Hart is survived by one son, James L. Hart of Cogona Park, Calif; four daughters, Viva (Mrs. J. J. Olson) of Pacific Palisades, Calif; Blanche (Mrs. R. E. Jenkins) of Sherman Oaks, Calif; Hazel Hart of Spokane; and Arlyne (Mrs. Hugh Armstrong) of Spokane Valley. Two brothers: Verl Hart of Riverside, Calif, and Jess Hart of Conoga Park, Calif. Seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were conducted from the chapel of the Ball & Dodd Funeral Home in Spokane on Wednesday June 4 at 10:30 AM with Elders Clarence Porter and Alton Gill officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Memorial Gardens in Spokane at a later date due to current weather conditions in the Spokane area."
