(Arlyne) Armstrong, Spokane; one son, James L. Hart, Conoga Park, CA., two brothers, Verl Hart, Riverside, CA., Jess Hart, Conoga Park, CA.; seven grandchildren; seven great granchildren.
Ball & Dodd & Thornhill & Langbehn Funeral Directors, S421 Division St. in charge of funeral arrangements."

"Bert E. Hart
Services for Bert E. Hart, 96, a 66-year Spokane resident, will be at 10:30 a.m. tomorrow at Ball and Dodd-Thornhill and Langbehn. Burial will follow at Riverside.
Born in Iowa, Mr. Hart had been a self-employed carpenter. He died Monday at a local nursing home.
Survivors include four daughters, Hazel and Mrs. Hugh R. (Arlyne) Armstrong, both of Spokane, Mrs. J.J. (Vida) Olson of Pacific Palisades, Calif., one son, James L. of Canoga Park, Calif."

"Bert Hart Passes: Elder Bert E. Hart, Born in Iowa on August 18, 1883, passed from this life very quietly at his home in Spokane on Monday June 2, 1980, just two months prior to his 97th birthday.
Brother Hart was an active member of the Spokane Southside Priesthood as long as his physical condition permitted him, taking active part with his church-work throughout the Spokane District. Brother Hart came to Spokane in a covered wagon in 1913 testifying that he saw only three automobiles all the way from Scotts Bluff, Nebraska to Spokane and one of those was parked in a driveway.
Bert Hart is survived by one son, James L. Hart of Cogona Park, Calif; four daughters, Viva (Mrs. J. J. Olson) of Pacific Palisades, Calif; Blanche (Mrs. R. E. Jenkins) of Sherman Oaks, Calif; Hazel Hart of Spokane; and Arlyne (Mrs. Hugh Armstrong) of Spokane Valley. Two brothers: Verl Hart of Riverside, Calif, and Jess Hart of Conoga Park, Calif. Seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were conducted from the chapel of the Ball & Dodd Funeral Home in Spokane on Wednesday June 4 at 10:30 AM with Elders Clarence Porter and Alton Gill officiating. Burial will be at Riverside Memorial Gardens in Spokane at a later date due to current weather conditions in the Spokane area."
