Myrtice “Myrt” Graves, 83, of Bainbridge, GA, passed away Tuesday, September 2, 2008 at Memorial Hospital.

The funeral service will be at 11:00 a.m. Friday, September 5, 2008 at Ivey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. David Grubbs officiating. Interment to follow at County Line Baptist Church Cemetery with Keith Graves, Ernest Graves, Glenn Graves, Jason Graves, Ed “Rusty” Haire, Eric M. Inlow, and Gator Bryant serving as active pallbearers.

The family will receive friends Thursday, September 4, 2008 from 6:00 to 8:00 p.m. at Ivey Funeral Home. Online visitors may sign the guest register at www.iveyfuneral.com.

Mrs. Graves was born June 7, 1925 in Thomasville, GA, the daughter of John Redding and Polly Plymel Redding. She was a homemaker and of the Christian faith. She was preceded in death by her son Jerry Graves, three brothers and four sisters.

Survivors include her companion of eighteen years, Edward M. Haire, Sr. of Bainbridge, GA; fours sons, Bobby Graves and his wife Mary Ann of Coolidge, GA, Rusty Haire and his wife Deborah of Dothan, AL, Joey Haire and his wife Peresia of Bainbridge, GA, and Greg Haire and his wife Peggy of Bainbridge, GA; two daughters, Ginger Inlow of Bainbridge, GA and Sissy French and her husband Shannon of Bainbridge, GA; her daughter in-law, JoAnn Graves of Pensacola, FL; twenty-one grandchildren; and thirty-two great-grandchildren.
