WW Pollock dies after a short illness, aged 89.

After spending 89 years on earth, WW Pollock, father of Chas. Pollock, passed quietly and peacefully away at 12:15, Sunday morning at his home on West Broadway. The aged man had been ill but four days when the end came.His immediate family was at his bedside trying to comfort him when life ebbed away.The funeral services were held at 3 p.m. Monday at the residence at 317 W. Broadway, with Rev. F.L. Farrington officiating. Internment was made at Anadarko Cemetery. Mr. Pollock was born in Mansfield, Ohio June 20, 1835. At the age of 29 he was united in marriage to Miss Elizabeth Alger.

To this union 9 children were born, two passing on in infancy. Seven survive his passing away, four girls and three boys: Mrs. Etta Hallock, Ada, KS; Mrs. Rena Hills, Portland, KS; Mrs. Fannie Casebeer, DesMoine, IA; Robert Pollock of Kirksville, MO; and Roy, Charles and Mrs. Lilly Keeler of Anadarko. Mr. Pollock united with the Presbyterian Church at an early age and was an ardent church worker at the age of 85. He was Immersed and united with the Church of Christ of Anadarko. He was the only surviving member of a family of 13 children."
