WATERBURY Records from 1857-1867: Earliest records available in Waterbury Town Clerks office.
Married on 23 Feb 1859- Lawrence Burtin/Burten res. of Richmond age 21, mechanic born in Sheldon, VT, father is Lewis Burton. Married to Julia Ann Clark, res of Dux. 16 years old, born in Dux., dau. of Rodolphus Clark. Married by CC Parker, Minister of the 1st Congregational Church, Waterbury.
In another area of Vermont records ( Believe in actual church record) it says he was b. in Vermont but married Sept 26, 1858. I was pretty sure actual record listed him as Laurent Losite Bertrand but cannot find marriage record at this time.
