Rena Elizabeth Updegraff,of York, died Tuesday, October 7, 2008.

Born April 23, 1921, in York, she was the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Erwin (Anna Evans) and the youngest sister of Mabel Raimer, Lulu Berkheimer, and Dorothy Wetzel, all deceased.

Throughout her life, she had been employed by Stauffer's Bakery, Foxes Bakery, and King Korn Stamps. For a short time, she was self-employed, selling her home made baked goods at the local markets. In later years, she provided private home care for the aged.

She was the widow of Robert Edward Fraley, George Robert Morrett, and Richard Updegraff. She will be missed deeply by her two daughters, Gwendolyn Lou Fraley and Penelope Ann Myers (Morrett), wife of George Myers, III; her son, Michael Albert Morrett; as well as her grandchildren, Jill Boston, Robert Fraley, Esq., Shawn Myers, and Chad Myers; and greatgrandchildren, Kyra and Luke Boston.

Burial will be in Prospect Hill Cemetery.
