CHARLES E. SHEPHERD
Charles E. Shepherd died at 9:20 p. m. Monday at St. Rita's Hospital where he had been a patient for one week. Born 14 Jan., 1890 in Montezuma He was the son of Mr. and Mrs Nathaniel Shepherd. His wife Mary Lou (Herron)Shepherd died in 1959. He was a retired carpenter. Surviving are three sons, Beven of 781 S. Atlantic; Leonard of 612 N. Metcalf;and Eugene of West Palm Beach, FL; a daughter Mrs. Goldie Camper of 235 Leonard; a stepson Roy Brock of 152 Grove; a brother Cary Shepherd of 1917 N. Adams St.; 25 grandchildren;and 35 great-grandchildren. Services will be at 10:30 a. m. Thursday at Chiles and Sons-Laman West Wayne Stree Chapel. Rev. Ronald Cannon officiating. Burial weill be in Montezuma Cemetery.
