C, 4th Texas, Hood's Brigade. Was in 32 pitched battles, including Gettysburg. Leaves a wife and five children: Frank J. Adams, Earnest M. Adams, Whitney M. Adams, Mrs. Gould of Austin, and a ten-year-old child. Funeral from the residence today, Dr. Addison Clark officiating.
