Services for Charles Stuart Pearse, 54, Baldwin, will be at 2 p.m. Friday at Lenexa Christian Center. Burial will be in Johnson County Memorial Gardens.

Mr. Pearse died Tuesday, Aug. 2, 2005.

He was born March 2, 1951, in Kansas City, Mo., the son of John and Joyce Challberg Pearse. He grew up in Overland Park and graduated from Shawnee Mission West High School in 1969.

Mr. Pearse served in the U.S. Army National Guard and retired as a sergeant in 1977. He worked as a salesman and repairman at Smitty's Hardware in Overland Park for many years.

He married Marilyn Kay Kastl in January 1977. She survives, of the home.

Other survivors include his parents, Forsyth, Mo.; two daughters, Rachel Stouder, Jacksonville, Ill., and Margaret Pearse, Baldwin; a brother, John Jr., Kansas City, Mo.; a sister, Marian Dyer, Overland Park; and two grandsons.
