Mary married Joel Swanger DeWitt, Jr on 17 Apr 1938 in Macon, MO. In 1952 they moved to Michigan where she and he raised their family. Mary was the daughter of William Pinkerton Richardson and Mary Sophia Harman who both lived in Missouri most of their lives.
