LOVIE NAFE LANDIS, died at the Barley Convalescent Home, York, on Jan. 8, 1950, after an illness of eighteen months, six months of which she was bedfast.
Her age was 46 years, 10 months, 15 days.
She was a member of St. Jacob's Church.
Surviving are her husband, John Landis; four daughters, Mrs. Lester Bankert, Hanover R.D. 2; Mrs. Joseph Riffle, Elizabeth City, N.C.; Mrs. Francis Heck, Hanover; Mrs. George Rohrbaugh, Spring Grove R.D. 3; five grandchildren; her mother, Mrs. William Nafe; a sister, Mrs. William Miller, and a brother, Emanuel C. Nafe.
The funeral was held on Jan. 11, 1950, with a family service at the Geiple Funeral Home, and a public service in St. Jacob's Church. Burial was made in the cemetery nearby.
