| Birth: | May 31, 1929 | | Death: | Sep. 29, 2008 |  Professional Football Player. He was born Milton Eugene Davis in Muskogee, Oklahoma and raised in Los Angeles. He played at the defensive back position for four seasons (1957 to 1960) in the National Football League with the Baltimore Colts. He was a member and key player on two NFL championship teams (1958 and 1959 Colts). His other notable career highlights include two-time All Pro selection (1957, 1959) and two-time league leader in interceptions with 10 in 1957 and 7 in 1959. After playing collegiate football at UCLA, Davis was chosen by the Detroit Lions in the 8th round of the 1954 NFL Draft. He served two years in the United States Army before appearing in 45 regular season games, with 27 career interceptions for 410 yards and 3 touchdowns. He died from cancer. (bio by: C.S.)
