Iva Mae (Harper) Hague, 92 of Robinson, passed away on Thursday, Feb. 10, 2005, at a local hospital. Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Saturday, Feb. 12 at Youngblood Memorial Presbyterian Church with the Rev. Joe David Ruffin officiating. Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Friday at Pecan Grove Funeral Home, 3214 Robinson Dr., Waco.
Mrs. Hague was born on Jan. 24, 1913, in Fairview, Texas to Robert and Jennie Ellen Harper. She married Robert Hague on Nov. 22, 1930 in Waco. After marriage she lived in the Groesbeck area from 1930 until 1934. She then moved to Bosqueville and worked at a bakery in Waco. She moved to Robinson from the late 1930s until 1959. She moved to Texarkana until 1966 and moved back to Robinson. She is a member and Ruling Elder of the Robinson Youngblood Memorial Presbyterian Church, where she was in the choir, Women of the Church, and Church Circle Member. She was also involved in the Robinson School PTA. She was a loving and devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. She took great pride in having a beautiful yard and garden.
She was preceded in death by her parents, brothers James Ward Harper, Carroll Connally Harper, and Robert Clarence Harper, and a daughter, Bobbie Ann Hague.
Mrs. Hague is survived by her husband, Robert Hague of Robinson, sons Aaron Keith Hague of Robinson and Robert C. Hague of Katy; brother, William Harper of Temple, grandson, Aaron Keith Hague of Mnsfield, granddaughters, Elizabeth Ann Bourdeau of Magnolia, Angela Fuqua of Houston, Vicki Smith of Katy, and Bobbie Cutaia of Argyle; 11 great-grand-chilcren and one great-great-grandchild.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Youngblood Memorial Presbyterian Church.
