Larry George Summers, was born October 16, 1936 in Idaho Falls, Idaho a son of Laurence George Summers and Rosa Edith Hunter Summers.
He graduated from Ririe High School where he was active in band. He was active in scouting earning the rank of Eagle Scout. Following high school he attended Ricks College in Rexburg, Idaho and Utah State University in Logan, Utah. Larry served a mission for The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Southern California. Larry married Lorraine Curtis. They were later divorced.
He served in the Idaho National Guard.
Survivors include two daughters. one son, one sister of Ririe, one brother of Bountiful Utah, and 6 grandchildren. Larry was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers Jack and Ben.
