Charles, 74, of Nederland passed away Sunday at his residence.
A native of Mississippi he had lived in Nederland for the past fifty years. He retired from Firestone Rubber Company in Orange. He was a member and deacon for Hillcrest Baptist Church.
Charles was preceded in death by his wife, Ida Lee Ratcliff Britt, one brother and three sisters.
Survivors include his sons, Charles E. Britt Jr. and wife Christina, Anthony Carlos Britt and wife Joann; daughter, Debbie Hanley and husband Reggie; ten grandchildren and eight great grandchildren; brothers, Clayton and Tom Britt; sister, Lessie Carolyn Britt McCoy; and many other family and friends.
