Bridget was the daughter of Henry Thorpe and Anna Thorpe (nee Logan).
Her parents settled in Holyoke, Hampden County, Massachusetts. Bridget's siblings were born in Masschusetts: Helen (1852-1931) married Barry; James W. Thorpe (1854-1931); Thomas Henry Thorpe (1856-1925); Anna Esther (1861-1949) married LaBrecque; Theresa F. (c1865-1916); Josephine (c1870-1916).
Bridget married Henry J. (John Henry) Taylor. They had three children born in Pennsylvania; Lillian May (1868-1937) married John W. Cable; Mary Veronica "Daisy" (1879-1944) married Charles Nelson Bishop; William Henry Taylor (1883-1971) married Elsie M. Williams.
Death notice from the Pittsburgh Press, April 14, 1923:
TAYLOR--On Thursday, April 12, 1923, at 2:30 p.m., Bridget Taylor (nee Thorp) [sic], widow of Henry Taylor, aged 75 years. Funeral from the residence of her daughter, Mrs. C. N. Bishop, 10 Neptune st., Twentieth ward, on Monday, April 16, at 8:30 a.m. Requieum high mass at St. James church, at 8:45 o'clock. Friends of the family are respectfully invited to attend.
