Florence first married Edward E. Harris on February 25, 1929 in Pontiac, Oakland County, Michigan, USA. They later divorced and did not have children. She then married Chester "Chet" Hollis on October 11, 1932 in Corning, Clay County, Arkansas, USA, and they were together until she passed away. Florence and "Chet" did not have children either, however he had a son, named Sonny, from a previous relationship.
