Mr. Johnson was for years in the shoe business on th south side of the square, but lately was employed by Klaholt & Fogarty as clerk. He came to this city from St. Louis when he was three years old and received his education at the schools and business colleges here. In October, 1886, he married Miss Caroline Wise. Associated with the Modern Woodmen, he was a valued member of that organization.
