GREENSBORO - Ms. Jeannette Claire McGrady passed away Wednesday, September 17, 2008, at Heartland Living and Rehabilitation Center.
A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Monday, September 22, at First Baptist Church in Greensboro. Interment will follow in Mountlawn Memorial Park in N. Wilkesboro, N.C.
Jeannette was born in Wilkes County, N.C., to the late John and Viola McGrady. She retired after 25 years of service from the Internal Revenue Service, a member of the Gate City Shrine No. 2, Order of the White Shrine, the American Business Women's Association, and also the National Association of Retired Federal Employees where she was a past first vice president. She was a member of First Baptist Church.
Ms. McGrady was preceded in death by four sisters and four brothers.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
