LAFAYETTE WELLS1930 Members of Old and Well Known Johnson Co. Family Succumbs to HeartAttack --------- Lafe Wells, age 69, died suddenly at the home of his daughter, Mrs.Bailey Collins, of Daniels Creek, at 2:30 a.m. Monday morning. He hadbeen ill for a number of years of heart trouble and succumbed to anattack Monday morning which proved fatal Mr. Wells was a memebr of one of Johnson County's old and prominentfamilies and had been known during his life as a good citizen. Besides his widow he is survived by eight children; Mrs. BaileyCollins, Mrs. Lacy Collins, Jim Wells, Chester Wells, Mrs. JennieBlankenship, Mrs. Bill Johnson, Mrs. Lacy Collins and Mrs. Tombleson.He is also survived by three brothers; Brownlow Wells, Alex Wells andWalker Wells, and a large number of relatives.
