Ellis James Greening, 77, passed away Saturday, July 15, 2006, in Orem.

Ellis was born February 28, 1929, in American Fork, Utah, to William Franklin and Emma Elizabeth Binch Greening.

He married Cherril Peterson April 10, 1951, in the Salt Lake Temple.

He was an avid fisherman and blessed many people with his beautiful woodworking. After retiring from Hill Air Force Base, he loved spending time out in his yard and with his family.

Ellis is survived and will be missed by his three daughters, Janell Kallas of South Jordan, Becky (Bruce) Lemmon of Magna, and Denise Hudson of Orem; 10 grandchildren, 4 great-granddaughters, and 1 great-grandson, all who loved him very much.

He also leaves behind 3 brothers, Don, Dale, and Arlan Greening.

Preceded in death by his wife of 50 years, parents and 7 siblings.

We would like to thank Comfort Care Hospice, especially Amber, Holly and Jonathan, for making his last days more comfortable.

Funeral services will be held Wednesday, July 19, 2006, at noon in the Sharon Park Fourteenth Ward chapel, 100 E 300 N, Orem. Friends may call at the church on Wednesday morning from 10:30 until 11:45.

Interment will be in the Timpanogos Memorial Gardens, Orem. Berg Mortuary is in charge of arrangements.
