Their four children were: William Thomas, Minnie Lucinda, Effie Louisa and Charles Fleming Amos, Mary Jane died at the young age of twenty eight. William remarried to Sallie Lee Herren Thrower (she was previously married to a Thrower and widowed at the age of twenty years) on March 15, 1901 in Comanche County, Texas. They had five children. Sarah Ozora Lela, Roberta Mae, Jesse Jefferson, Virgie Verda and Floyd Benjamine.
