RC Autorino retired Sergeant from the Westchester County PD after over 20 years of service, passed away at Vassar Brothers Medical Center on Friday, September 19, 2008 he was 66. RC was born on June 23, 1942 in Mount Vernon he was the son of the late, Peter and Nancy Paladino Autorino. RC was of the Roman Catholic faith and was a graduate of Fordham University in 1963, where upon he became a police office in the Pelham PD but would ultimately serve his career as a police officer in Westchester. After retiring in 2001 RC was asked to become the Commissioner of the Police Advisory Board he served from 1995 until 1998. RC was a proud member of the follow organizations, Past President FOP Lodge #54, Masons Lodge, Retired Police Chiefs Association, Blue Knights Police Motorcycle Club, Dutchess Cruisers, Road Knights and the Elks Club. He leaves to cherish his memory his longtime companion and wife, Mary Margaret Pinto. Mary and RC confirmed their love finally in Poughkeepsie on December 12, 2007. Mary survives at home in Poughkeepsie. RC is survived by his loving son, Nicholas and his wife, Isabella Autorino, their children Brandon and Jessie, a brother, John and his wife, Cris Autorino, niece, Sharon and nephew Bobby. RC was predeceased by his brother, George Autorino in 1994. Calling hours will be from 4-8 on Monday and Tuesday on both days. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Wednesday, September 24, at 10:00 AM at St. Mary Mother of the Church in Fishkill.
