Minnie M. Bainbridge, 91, of Hometown, died Thursday at Edgemont Personal Care Home, Lansford.

Born in Locust Valley, she was a daughter of the late John and Annie Guers Schlear.

She was a sewing machine operator in several area garment factories.

She was a member of Christ Lutheran Church, Mahanoy City, its Lutheran Daughters and Hometown Fire Company Auxiliary.

She was preceded in death by her husband, James; two sisters, Mae Herring and Cordelia Fritz.

Surviving are a brother, John Schlear, Reading; nieces and caregivers, Kay Brown, Tamaqua and Jane Tarter, Lehighton.

Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday from Lamar Christ Funeral Home, Hometown. Interment will be in Skyview Memorial Park, Hometown.
