Illness Is Fatal To E. C. Lanphier
After an illness of six weeks, Edward C. Lanphier passed away at his home, 618 N. State St., Sunday afternoon.
Mr. Lanphier spent his entire life in Painesville and had been employed in the train service of the New York Central Railroad.
He is survived by his wife, Irene, a sister, Mrs. John McDermott, of Cleveland; three brothers, Walter G. and Charles W. of Cleveland, and Fred J. of Painesville.
Funeral services will be conducted Wednesday at 9 a.m. at St. Anthony's Church in Fairport. Burial will be in the family lot in Evergreen Cemetery.
Friends may call at the late residence.

Services Are Held For E. C. Lanphier
Several out-of-town relatives and friends of Edward C. Lanphier of 618 N. State St., who died at his home Sunday, were among those who attended funeral services for him Wednesday at St. Anthony's Church in Fairport.
The requiem high mass was conducted by Rev. Fr. Zolton Demko, who also officiated at the graveside service at the family lot in Evergreen Cemetery.
Pallbearers were Henry O'Leary, James O'Leary, Edward O'Herron, Harry McDevitt, Charles Lanphier and John McDermott.
