George Morton Fulton served as a B-17 Ball Turret Gunner with the 384th Bomb Group, 547th Bomb Squadron in the UK during WWII.
He was shot down on his second bombing mission, 12 August 1943, over occupied Europe and held as a Prisoner of War until being liberated in May 1945.
