Maria Katharina Berg was born in Trimbs (Polch), Germany to Johann Adam Berg and Anna Sophia (Josten) Berg.
Maria had three brothers: Peter Josef (of Trimbs), Michel (of Trimbs), and Nicolaus. She also had one sister, Elisabeth "Liese", who married Wilhelm "Will" Siemons and moved to Dorff, which is near Aachen.
She was married May 1, 1881 to Peter Weiler. Peter's nickname was "Puetsch". Once they were married Maria became known as "Puetsch's Marie".
The Weilers lived in Niedermendig (Kreis Mayen), Germany.
They had 11 children: Katharina, Jean, Wilhelm Friedrich, Elisabeth, August, Friedrich, Anna Maria, and four whose names are unknown as they died as infants.
Maria died during WWII. She was buried in the main Friedhof in Niedermendig.
