William Doyen Glenn, 90, of Raytown, MO., passed away Sunday, August 17, 2008. Doyen was born January 26, 1918 in Dade Conty, Missouri. He was the son of Willam M. & Carrie E. Glenn.
In 1940 he married Christine Price and they had four daughters, Laquetta, Zianetta, Linda and Sue.
For the last 45 years he lived in the Kansas City area.
He is survived by his wife of 29 years, Shirley Glenn; two daughters, Laquetta Melton and Sue Nalley; one brother, Virgil Glenn; step-daughters, Teresa Brockton and Juanita Ortez; stepson, Bill Smith, numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by two daughters,Zianetta Polk-Glenn and Linda Gentry and one brother and four sisters.
Funeral Servies were held in Kansas City, Missouri an was buried in the Corry Cemetery, Corry, Dade County, Missouri on Wednesday, August 20, 2008.
