Coco was our beloved terrier mix. I helped deliver her when her mother was having her as she was coming out sideways and her sack had already broken. We were inseparable ever since. She would meet me at my bus stop after school every day...climbing over a chain link fence to get there. She would jump into my arms and I would carry her home like a baby which was not an easy feat for a 55 lb dog!

She became a part of our married family and was very protective of our 2 kids. She would tolerate anything they did to her including those big hugs around the neck. She was diagnosed with Mast Cell tumor at age 11. The veterinarian who cut the growth off gave her 6 months to live. Well, true to her tough spirit and with lots of love and affection, she made it almost 6 YEARS! She died one month shy of her 17th birthday.

There is not a day that goes by that I don't think of her and miss her. There will never be another dog like her. I love you, Coco!
