She was my Paternal Great-Grandmother. She was born Edith Blanche Moore in 1893 to Frank and Lillian A. (Willams) Moore in Old Shawneetown, Illinois. She was one of three children; brother Earl Moore, and sister Dora Moore. She was married to Henry Clinton Dimmitt Sr. on December 14, 1912 in Mount Vernon (Posey), Indiana. To this union 8 children were born; Lillian Blanche (Dimmitt) Wright, Henry Clinton Dimmitt Jr., Clarence Clifford Dimmitt, Maxine Clara (Dimmitt) Wright, Charles Edward "Jack" Dimmitt, Florence Elizabeth (Dimmitt) Waller, Glowdean (Dimmitt) Jackson, and Claudean (Dimmitt) Arnold. She was called home in May of 1970 at the age of 76 and was laid to eternal rest at New Crown Cemetery in Indianapolis, Indiana.
