Marion K. "Buck" Davis 66 of Greenback, died at 1:48 p.m. Saturday at his family home.
He was a member of Old Faith Missionary Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by son Timothy Joe Davis; parents, Bill and Aileen Davis; and sister Nadine Effler.
Survivors include his wife, Ann Davis; son, Terry Davis of Maryville,; sons and daughters-in-law, Marion "Dobbin" Jr. and Vickie Davis of Maryville, Tommy and Karen Davis of Georgia; daughter and son-in-law, Pam and Stan Murrell of Maryville; eight grandchildren; one great-grandchild; brothers, George Davis of Maryville, Billy Davis of Townsend, Bobby Davis of Maryville, James Davis of Maryville and Larry Davis of Knoxville; step-sons, Bill Burkett of Maryville and Wayne Haggard of Maryville; and two step-grandchildren, Salena and Tracy Burkett.
The funeral service will be at 8 p.m. today at Trinity Chapel Smith Mortuary with the Rev. Everett Evans officiating. Family and friends will assemble at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Grandview Cemetery for interment. The family will receive friends from 7-8 p.m. today in Trinity Chapel of Smith Mortuary.
